A product listing should reduce the amount of work a customer has to do. The customer should understand the product without needing to ask several basic questions.

Use a specific product name

Avoid vague names. Include the type of product and important identifying information where useful.

Write for the customer

Explain what the product is, who it is suitable for, important features and what is included.

Show important details

Price, quantity, size, weight, material, ingredients or other relevant specifications should be easy to find.

Use real photographs

A clear photograph can communicate information that a paragraph cannot. Use sharp, relevant images and avoid misleading photographs.
